The Gentle Child
Mindfulness can be a useful tool for decreasing anxiety and promoting resilience, happiness and creativity at each developmental stage of childhood. Children are uniquely suited to benefit from mindfulness practice, as they are already innately mindful, fully inhabiting the present moment; but as we are all too aware, habits formed in early life inform behaviours in adulthood, fears and anxieties deeply ingrained are often difficult to overcome later in life.
Mindfulness practice teaches children to become aware of their thoughts and emotions and offers them the language and tools to be able to befriend them and express them.
Creative Mindfulness introduces mindfulness to children in an age appropriate, fun and creative way; and cultivates mindful habits, that lead to grow into aware, balanced and compassionate people.
